ASTRAL OUT-OF-HOME INTRODUCES NEW MONTREAL DIGITAL PRODUCTS
New network provides access to 29 million people annually through three locations

Bell Media’s Astral Out-of-Home division has added to its growing suite of transportationproducts with the launch of a new Montreal network called the Digital AMT Terminals Network.
Developed in partnership with Montreal’s public transit body, Agence métropolitaine de transport (AMT), the network is located in the city’s Centre-ville and Longueuil bus terminals, as well as the Lucien-L’Allier train station
Combined, an estimated 29 million people pass through the three locations each year, with a core demographic of adults 25-54.
The new network is comprised of two products:
- Columns featuring 70-inch single and double-sided high-luminosity LCD screens, each capable of displaying six 10-second ad units;
- 39 42-inch LCD screens displaying a combination of commuter information and six 10-second ad units
The digital component at Lucien-L’Allier complements a static station domination package that Astral introduced in September. It is the company’s only digital offering within AMT-controlled properties.
“It’s a great add-on for clients,” said Éliane Tremblay, director of transportation products for Astral Out-of-Home in Montreal. “Static is great for impact, but digital enables us to change the messaging. It adds great flexibility, which is something clients are asking for.”
The products are being installed this week, with advertiser access to the products beginning April 6.
